Based on independent user testing conducted by Heeluxe, when compared to three of the leading cushioned trail hikers, KEEN women’s 450 Dirt shoe scored highest in ride, overall comfort, heel comfort and forefoot cushion. It also beat the competition in downhill stability and achieved some of the lowest Downhill Hiking Deceleration Loading Rate numbers ever measured by Heeluxe, translating into higher cushioning comfort for the user.
That comfort primarily comes from the rolling feeling of the KEEN.CURVE design – a unique combination of high-rebound cushioning, a full-length plate that maintains a constant curve, and a contoured, athletic fit that hugs and secures the foot in motion. The waterproof version is equipped with a KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane inside and PFAS-free water repellency outside to keep feet dry and comfortable in all conditions.
