Brands are presenting training and education workshops for attendees as part of the Outdoor and Social Certification.
Throughout the 3 days of Outdoor and Social there are offsite hikes led my qualified trail guides for you to take advantage off. These can be booked on arrival at the reception tent.
At any point during the day, ideally morning or just after lunch you can speak with brands and arrange to take gear to use on the hikes. Some of the brands may walk and talk with you during use too, which is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn on the move. This is to be arranged during the days directly between yourselves and the brands.
Please check the Event Schedule for information regarding speakers, food time etc. There are speakers covering a wide array of topics. We would encourage you to attend as many as possible.
We are launching the first part of a new learning and education system accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning. This means that you will carry with you your progress record. Any workshops and talks attended will be signed by a representative of a brand or and social. This will result in a fully filled out record which needs to be handed back to and social staff by 11am on Thursday so we can reconcile and issue certificates at the final lunch.
Please note that you can have more than one brand sign off each section so please take advantage of all of the possible training and gain multiple training.
As part of this, we again ask you to complete the Allyship and Adventure smart e-modules before attending and have your completion certificates available on your phone on arrival.
You are welcome to arrive on Monday 11th from 4pm onwards and can explore the local area if you wish before the event starts with breakfast on Tuesday 12th March 2024.
From Tuesday to Thursday lunchtime all meals are provided for you. There will be tea and coffee available, also soft drinks. We also have Torq nutrition onsite providing snacks and a hydration station.
