Dear All,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Outdoor & Social last week. It was a fantastic few days, filled with great energy, collaboration, networking, and many memorable moments. We’d also like to thank everyone who has attended previously, as your feedback has helped shape this event.
We had a number of highlights across the week, starting with the International Darts competition on Monday evening at the Nags Head, who kindly opened exclusively for our attendees. The pub quiz was another standout moment, with some excellent prizes going to a very deserving winning team.
Across the week we saw strong participation in the walks and runs, which this year offered more detailed levels to suit all abilities, as well as our NEW climbing taster sessions, all of which have received very positive feedback so far. The brand village looked fantastic throughout the event, and it was great to see brands busy training and engaging with retailers.
Despite the challenging wind conditions, the quick pivot to prioritise safety was taken extremely well by everyone. After the yellow wind warning, it was fantastic to see the marquee full of smiling faces and busy conversations on Thursday morning. Thank you all for adapting so positively, it undoubtedly helped ensure the event continued safely without damage or injury.
A special mention also goes to Newfold Farm, who outdid themselves with the variety and quality of food at every mealtime. We’ve already received some excellent feedback on the catering.
We will be sending out a feedback form shortly. As in previous years, we would really appreciate your most honest and detailed feedback. Your input is invaluable and helps us continue to evolve the event so it best meets the needs of everyone who attends.
We’re also very pleased to announce the dates for Outdoor & Social 2027 as 9–11 March, when we will be returning to Newfold Farm. We hope to see many of you there again.
