and social. was an idea born after spending many hours on the road as a way of bringing industries together to network, educate, experience, diversify and socialise while doing what they love and advocate to others. It’s passion for community.
We feel that the best learning is a combination of three factors – hands on, listening and seeing.
Bearing this in mind we ensure our events respond to those needs and enable everyone to leave with more knowledge and confidence in their professional lives going forward.
Our founder has been on the road, worked in outdoor retail and taught as an instructor. From this experience (on top of a lot more) the idea of how to deliver a better system of education developed. and social. isn’t just the company name it is our mantra.
