Sea to Summit brings Aussie spirit and outdoor comfort to Outdoor and Social 2025

The three-day event brought together retailers, brands, and outdoor professionals for practical, on-the-ground training. Delivered by experts and supported by well-known outdoor brands, the event offers free learning, recognised certification, and—most importantly—a chance to get hands-on with products in the environment they’re designed for.

Held from March 11–13 at Newfold Farm in Edale, in the heart of the Peak District, Outdoor and Social 2025 welcomed over 150 retail staff from 28 retailers, alongside 86 brands.

James Maltby, UK Sales Director for Sea to Summit, was on hand to meet visitors and share the brand’s story.

Sea to Summit, take their gear and adventures seriously—but never themselves. There’s always a bit of Aussie humour in the mix. They’re passionate about outdoor living, and that shows in everything they make—from ultralight sleep systems and technical cookware to rugged dry bags and innovative tents.

Their presence at the event echoed their campaign message: “Comfort Wherever You Roam.” It’s a simple idea with a powerful meaning—bringing convenience and quality to outdoor adventures without sacrificing the spirit of exploration.

“Being outdoors doesn’t have to mean roughing it,” Maltby said. “With the right kit, you can have a genuinely enjoyable and comfortable experience—even in the remotest places.”

Sea to Summit’s broad product range was on full display, including their award-winning sleep systems, modular camp kitchen setups, and highly durable dry storage solutions. Visitors got a chance to handle the gear, ask questions, and hear more about the brand’s journey from its roots in Perth, Australia, to its growing presence across the UK.

“We’ve been active in the UK for several years now and have seen strong growth,” Maltby noted. “The brand has gone from strength to strength.”

The event’s community-driven atmosphere proved a great match for Sea to Summit’s values.

“The people coming through have been really engaged. We’ve had some fantastic conversations and great interaction. Outdoor and Social is a brilliant concept—it brings outdoor enthusiasts together in a meaningful way,” said Maltby. “There’s some fine-tuning to be done, but it’s clear the event has a lot of potential.”

Sea to Summit continues to champion innovative, sustainable, and packable solutions for every kind of outdoor experience—whether you’re summiting peaks or sleeping under the stars in your local national park.

As the outdoor community evolves, so does their message: adventure should be accessible, enjoyable, and just a little more comfortable—for everyone.
